The 10 Best Views in China

We have officially been back home from China for two months now, and in our Dursteler Abode for 10 days. We are finally feeling comfortable and settled again. Since we sold most of our furniture when we left, we will be redecorating most of our home.  We currently have more luggage than we do furniture, but we have so many new ideas and are so excited to start over. I will be updating the process as we go. (Of course.)

It is nice to feel settled and back into routine, but that doesn’t mean I don’t constantly scroll through my camera roll and feel nostalgic for the time we spent in China. Since I am still in awe that these photos were once my life, I decided to make a post of my top 10 favorite views, in no specific order, that I experienced in that beautiful country.  I still can’t believe that I witnessed these views in real life with my own eyes.

Romantic Indie Playlist-Valentine’s Day 18′

You should all know by now how I am when it comes to holidays. I love special days dedicated to special things, and any excuse to celebrate is my favorite. Valentine’s Day has always been one of my favorite holidays. Even though I believe that people should spread love and put their lovers on a pedestal all year round, I can’t help but absolutely love an excuse to show some extra love and celebrate with all of the cheesy, gushy stuff that comes with it.

Also, making time for some alone time with this guy is also a plus. We are on opposite schedules now and are both really missing spending every minute of every day together. He surprised me with flowers and dinner last night to celebrate early since I am working tonight.

This picture was taken in Seoul, Korea on October 28, 2017.

Last year, I made a post of my top 10 favorite romantic movie scenes. If you’re interested in watching those, here is the link.

This year, I decided to create a Valentine’s day playlist and share ten of  our favorite love songs from the last few years to get you all in the mood for this love-ly holiday.

So, here’s to the lovers:

*All of these songs are from the last five years, if I shared all of my favorite love songs, this post would be a 200 page novel.*

And for the people who don’t have lovers, here’s to you: stuff your own face with chocolate, buy yourself flowers, and remind yourself that you don’t need to be in love to be happy.

Happy Valentine’s Day! xoxo

Onto the next adventure, with love;
